Match Report

Littleover Dazzlers 7 - 2 Heanor Juniors

Adrian Lonsdale  - 02/12/2008

First Half
We were teamed up against Heanor for the second time this season, and after last weeks disappointment against Belper the boys were fired up to make ammends. Straight from the off, Scott and Connor teamed up well down the right for Hassan to easily tap in. However, 9 men Heanor weren't going to roll over that easily, and came straight back and scored twice. Like last week Dazzlers did not let their heads drop and worked together well to get back on terms almost straight away with Scott slotting it home. Dazzlers were the stronger team coming into half time playing some good flowing football and working hard for each other. Half time 2-2.

Second Half

Straight from the second half whistle Scott took the ball and ran at the Heanor defence who opened like the Red Sea and slotted the ball home for his second of the afternoon. On a roll now Scott kept running at the opposition and was clean through again shortly after only to be brought down in the area. Scott step up to take the penatly which was saved by the keeper but Scott then slotted home the rebound. Cameron then added to his tally this season adding a 5th. The extra two men was now telling with all the game being played in the Heanor half, from a corner the ball came out to Waqar who had hit the crossbar in the first half but this time rocketed a shot into the top of the net. Hassan then tied up the game slotting home his second and Dazzlers 7th of the game. FINAL SCORE 7 - 2.

Man of the Match

Scott Freeman, continuously terrorising the Heanor defence and took a hat trick for his troubles.
