From Sunday 16th May we will be training at King George Playing fields, from 10am till 12pm.
Please make sure your child comes appropriately dressed with a drink.
Derby City League Presentation Night
Following on from the success of this season we have been invited to attend Derby City League's Presentation Night on Friday 21st May at the Assembly Rooms, Derby. This event is open to all players and family however we may be restricted to numbers due to all teams from all leagues that finished 1st or 2nd attending. Tickets will be £4 per person. We will be ringing around to check on numbers but if you want to contact either Jas or Adrian directly please do so.
If you are unable to attend this event, don't worry your son will not miss out on a trophy there will be one for each player and this can be presented to them at a later date by Jas or Adrian.
This night is in addition to the Dazzlers Presentation Night the following Friday 28th May.

Mackworth St Francis V Littleover Dazzlers

First Half
The game started at a frantic pace with both sides unable to take control of the game, both teams enjoyed spells of pressure but neither team were able to capitalise on this. Eventually Dazzlers took the lead half way into the first half after the ball was played out to Callum Redfern on the edge of the box who knocked the ball into space and powered his shot into the bottom right corner. This goal gave Dazzlers a lift with Scott Freeman firing his shot in after a threw run in on goal. Tom Braithwaite then got his second in two games knocking in from close range from a corner. Dazzlers went into the half time break 4 up when Rob Whitehorn got his first of this season, this was well over due. HALF TIME 4-0.Second Half
Mackworth came out in the second half as expected and pilled the pressure on Dazzlers, who were able to contain most attacks however Mackworth managed to get one back. Mackworth's goal then spurred Dazzlers back into action and got a goal back. Mackworth's heads then dropped and Dazzlers then went on to get another 4 goals with Ben Murphy getting 2, Cameron Sarker also getting 2 and Jason Cain getting the 9th goal. FINAL SCORE 9-1
Man of the Match
Man of the Match went to Cameron Sarker for his usual effort levels and contribution to the team, often overlooked as this is something we take as granted now from Cam. Well done
