New players needed for next season. Must be under 13 years of age on 31st August 2008. Please contact either James Thompson or Don Powell.
Training
From Tuesday 23rd September we will be training at Derby Moor Community Sports College, at 6.30pm until 7.30pm. Please ensure all children wear appropriate clothing and bring a drink.

Uttoxeter 0 Littleover Dazzlers 5

First Half
Following a run of postponed games we at last got to play, and in the quarter final of the cup.
All previous games against Uttoxeter had been close, with the most recent ending in a 1-1 draw. However it was a surprise when they were able to field only 7 players. Straight from the kick off Dazzlers made the numerical superiority count with constant attacks on the Uttoxeter goal. Oshaller Sango making her debut in goal didn’t touch the ball for the first 15 minutes.
Despite constant pressure it was not until the 20th minute that Beth Roberts converted an excellent cross from Jess Page to put Dazzlers ahead, but we were unable to add to the lead before half time.
Second Half
The second half began as the first had ended with Siobhan Davis hitting the post and crossbar before Holly Dingwall pounced to make it 2 – 0. With Dazzlers able to introduce fresh legs into the attack, and Uttoxeter beginning to slow having spent the game chasing the ball, it was inevitable that Dazzlers would add to their goal tally, with Siobhan Davis and Holly Dingwall (2) scoring in the final 15 minutes. Despite their lack of numbers Uttoxeter put up a brave performance and made us work really hard for the victory. Special thanks for the great support the team received, and we now have a semi final to look forward to!
