Times: 6.00pm - 8.00pm
Winter Training: Tuesday 23rd September onwards - Derby Moor Community Sports College

Times: Tuesday 6.30pm - 7.30pm

 

Fees £12.00 per Month

Please make sure your child comes appropriatly dressed with drink.

Dazzlers 2 Stockbrock colts 2

First Half
It was Stocky's last game of the season today so i knew they would want to finish on a high, both team's didn't really create to many chance's and when they did the keepers didn't really get troubled. Most of the football was played in the middle of the park with both teams finding it hard to break through the opposition defence, It took 30 minutes for stocky to finally break the dead lock a great through ball that split the dazzler defence for there striker to run onto and place the ball into the back of the net, bottom right hand corner of Liam 0-1 Stocky.

Second Half

I told the lads at half time that we was still in this game but we have got to win the midfield battle and win more tackles, We also need to be having shots from distance and work the keeper instead of trying to work the ball into the back of the net. We had the wind behind us in the second half so i was hoping this might help us out and we could put the stocky defence under some pressure. Both teams created more chances than they did in the 1st half but both keepers stood there ground, But after 45 minutes Stocky got there 2nd, the ball was played down the left, We gave there striker to much time on the ball and he had time to turn look up and place a lovely strike top corner 0-2 stocky. At 0-2 down I was thinking how could i change things around to get us back in the game but with out us conceding anymore goals. Most teams heads would of dropped and give up at this stage but not us, after making a few tactical change's and bringing on a couple of subs to try and freshen up the team the started to play some really good football and pile on the pressure. Greg had a great free kick that was cleared off the line, We had a couple of one on one's that we should of scored from. Finally we did score I think it was a through ball from Greg for Akil to run onto and fire a fantastic shot top corner keeper had no chance 1-2 game on. Dazzlers continued to pressure Stocky, Barvinder one of the second half subs was getting stuck in and trying to create something from midfield like he has shown in recent weeks. We had corner after corner but just couldn't find the back of the net, Then with minutes to play a opportunity for Akil, he broke away from the Stocky defence a calmly placed his shot into the back of the net 2-2. Full time. It was a great 2nd half Dazzler TEAM perfomance and all the team played a big part in today's result.

Man of the Match

JAMES NEAL, WAS AWARDED BY STOCKY MANAGER FOR BEING A ROCK AT THE HEART OF DEFENCE. WELL DONE.
