First Half
The final game of the season for the under 9s, and memories of the first day of the season when the boys lost this match 6-0 were still fresh in everyones mind. However, there was not to be a repeat of this, and the boys produced some of their best football of the season in the first half, resulting in 2 goals from Keir and 1 from Matty, to give the team a comfortable half time lead: 3-0. There was an air of confidence about Dazzlers, and they seemed to know even before the game kicked off, that they would have their revenge on Field Lane today.

Second Half

Field Lane came out for the second half a little sharper, but Thomas again had very little to do in the Dazzlers goal. A penalty for Dazzlers half way through the second half was cooly slotted home off the post by Karum, which the keeper had no chance with. That was our 50th league goal of the season! As usual, the Dazzlers defence dealt with any threats professionally and comfortably, with Jack controlling things at the back. A great team performance to end the season on, and the result shows how hard all the boys have worked and improved since the first day of the season.
